NSW Chapter Scholarship – Now Open

Learning Environments Australasia’s NSW Chapter (LENSW) is proud to announce its 2025 - 2026 Conference Scholarship Program, designed to support the professional development of early career designers and educators who are passionate about shaping the future of learning environments.
Through this initiative, two scholarships will be awarded, one to a Designer and one to an Educator, providing the opportunity to attend the 2026 LEA Annual Regional Conference, “UNLEASH,” held in Perth from 13 – 15 May 2026.
The scholarships aim to foster emerging talent, promote cross-disciplinary exchange, and empower professionals to bring new insights and inspiration back to their workplaces and learning communities.
Each Scholarship Includes
- Full conference registration for Unleash 2026 (early bird value $1,275 ex GST)
- One (1) year’s Learning Environments Australasia membership
- $2,500 towards flights and accommodation
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have graduated within the past five (5) years (since 2020)
- Be currently working as a designer or educator (in a registered education facility)
- Be available to attend the 2026 UNLEASH conference in Perth from 13–15 May 2026 (in person only)
- Be able to present on their conference experience at a LENSW event in June 2026 (date to be confirmed)
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following to nsw@learningenvironments.org.au:
- A current CV
- A one page (A4) statement outlining:
- Your interest in Learning Environments Australasia
- Why you wish to attend 2026 UNLEASH
- How the experience would benefit your professional development
- How you would share your learnings with your organisation or educational institution
- A letter of support from your employer confirming their support for your attendance if successful
Key Dates
- Submissions Open: 17 October 2025
- Submissions Close: 4pm AEDST, Friday 14 November 2025
- Recipients Announced: 21 November 2025 at the 2025 NSW Regional Day Out
- Conference: 13 - 15 May 2026, Perth
- Presentation at LENSW event: June 2026 (exact date to be confirmed)
