Learning Environments Australasia’s (LEA) Life Membership recognises members whose exceptional service, leadership and long-standing commitment have made a profound and lasting contribution to LEA. As the highest honour that LEA can bestow, Life Membership celebrates individuals who have gone above and beyond through years of dedicated volunteer service, leadership and contribution to advancing learning environments across our Australasian community.
Recipients are selected through a rigorous nomination and assessment process that reflects the significance and prestige of this honour. Life Membership not only recognises outstanding individual achievement but also celebrates those whose enduring commitment has helped shape the growth, success and future of LEA.
Life Membership is awarded with a certificate, citation and trophy, announced each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and formally presented in person at the following year’s LEA Annual Conference.
Life Members enjoy complimentary LEA membership for life, and complimentary registration for life to the LEA Annual Conference, including welcome reception. Life members can elect to attend any other LEA Conference events such as pre/post-conference tour/s, or the Learning Environments Australasia Design (LEAD) Awards dinner at their own expense.
