On Friday November 10, Brisbane's Regional Day Out features a workshop and tour on how to synergise pedagogy, curriculum and learning spaces.
Workshop & Tour #1: A Synergy In Outcomes - Cannon Hill Anglican College
Cannon Hill Anglican College has been undergoing an extensive building program since 2012. In constructing the Teaching and Learning program for Junior Secondary, the College looked to merge the domains of learning spaces, curriculum design and pedagogical practice so that they produced a synergy in outcome.
The current building project is to complete the Science Centre with the addition of 3 full laboratories, one flexible science space, 3 classrooms and a space designed to be a large open plan learning area.
The capacity to facilitate links with the broader community and engage in future focused, project based, service activities is being planned for.
The site tour includes a visit to the fully operational Junior Secondary Precinct and the nearly complete Science and Enterprise Centre. Those interested in seeing refurbished classrooms and/or a Primary precinct can be accommodated.

Tickets are $200 for members, $250 for non members and $75 for Students (limited tickets). Tickets include two workshops, one site tour, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, and networking drinks. Prices exclude GST.
