The LEA Chapter Honours Program recognises members whose exceptional service, leadership and long standing commitment have made a lasting impact within their local Chapter and the wider LEA community. First awarded in 2025, Chapter Honours celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond through years of dedicated volunteer service, leadership and contribution to advancing learning environments.
As one of LEA’s highest Chapter level recognitions, recipients are selected through a rigorous nomination and assessment process that reflects the significance and prestige of the award. Chapter Honours not only acknowledge outstanding individual achievement but also celebrate the volunteers whose passion and commitment continue to strengthen our Chapters and our community.
The Chapter Honours will be awarded with a certificate and citation, announced and presented in person at the yearly Annual General Meeting (AGM). If the recipient is not in attendance at the AGM, the recipient’s Chapter Chair or Chapter representative will accept the award on the recipients behalf and honour the recipient at a Chapter event.
