Celebrating Visionary Designs
for Queensland's Learning Spaces
The Learning Environments Australasia Queensland Chapter Awards continue to spotlight innovation, creativity, and excellence in education design. This year’s awards drew an impressive 14 entries across six categories, showcasing the best in contemporary and inspiring projects from our talented members.
Our distinguished jury - Elliet Spring as Chair, joined by Graham Legerton and Christon Smith, dedicated their time and expertise to selecting the winners among a remarkable range of submissions. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their commitment and dedication to this rigorous process.
We are thrilled to announce that the overall winner of the 2024 Queensland Chapter Awards is the UQ Brisbane City project, designed by BVN Architecture and beautifully captured by photographer David Chatfield + Christopher Frederick Jones. This project exemplifies the forward-thinking design and attention to quality that our awards program celebrates, setting a new benchmark for learning environments in Queensland.
We also wish to congratulate all our award winners and commendations and extend our appreciation to every entrant who contributed their inspiring projects to this year’s awards program.
As a not-for-profit organisation with a diverse community of over 950 members spanning Australasia, LEA is passionate about fostering the creation of contemporary, inclusive, and innovative learning spaces.
