Celebrating Design Excellence in Learning Environments
The 2024 South Australian and Northern Territory Chapter Awards were announced on Thursday 24 October 2024 at the newly redevelopment St John’s Campus at Concordia College, Highgate in South Australia.
This year we received 17 remarkable submissions for the South Australian and Northern Territory Chapter Awards. The Jury panel was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality, creativity, and thoughtfulness of each project. The diversity and ingenuity shown in the entries truly stood out, reflecting a wide range of innovative approaches.
These awards aren't just about individual recognition – they celebrate the real impact on the educational spaces and the communities they serve. From students and teachers to broader school networks, the benefits of these well-designed environments extend far beyond the projects themselves, shaping enriched learning experiences and stronger educational communities.
We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated Jury panel for their time and commitment in judging the Awards. Special appreciation goes to Carolyn Oades (Jury Chair), Peter Moeck, and Anthea Perkas for their invaluable contributions. We also acknowledge Etienny Trindade, who was initially part of the panel but had to withdraw in the early stages due to a conflict of interest.
Thank you to all entrants for participating in the 2024 South Australian and Northern Territory Chapter Awards and congratulations to all our winners and commendations.
We are excited to receive your submissions for the 2025 Learning Environments Australasia Design (LEAD) Awards.
