Share Your Experience – QUT Learning Environments Research
12 Aug 2026
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) researchers are inviting learning environment professionals to contribute their experience and insights to a study exploring the design of school learning environments.
A team of researchers from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is conducting a study exploring school learning environments and the design ideas that allow students to thrive. The interview will take approximately 60 minutes and will be conducted online at a time that suits you.
They are seeking designers, architects and other professionals involved in creating school learning environments to talk about their most interesting projects. You don't need any research experience to participate - they simply want to learn from your professional insights and the experiences that have shaped your work.
For more information about the study, or to register your interest in participating, please complete the brief form here: Study Information and Registration Form.
If you have any questions, please contact the lead researcher, Dr Cate Challen, at catherine.challen@qut.edu.au.
This study has been approved by the QUT Human Research Ethics Committee (approval number 11273).
If you have experience designing or creating school learning environments, this is an opportunity to share your knowledge and help inform research into the spaces that support students to thrive.
