Scholarships Available for Tasmanian Professionals

Applications are now open for the 2026 Regional Day Out EMPOWER Scholarships.

Don’t miss your opportunity to meet like-minded professionals, who are committed to creating learning environments that support belonging, wellbeing, and equitable access to education.

Learning Environments Australasia’s Tasmanian Chapter (LEAT) is offering 10 event scholarships to support Tasmanian based professionals to attend 2026 Regional Day Out EMPOWER, happening in Hobart on Friday 20 November 2026.

Open to Tasmanian educators, allied health, design and architecture professionals who are not currently LEA members, each scholarship includes a full registration to the one-day conference, valued at $495 + GST.

EMPOWER will bring together leading thinkers in trauma-informed educational design, exploring how built and natural environments can foster connection, engagement and a sense of safety. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to take these ideas back into their practice and help positively influence learning environments and outcomes for learners.

Applications close 4pm AEDST/TAS time, Sunday 1 November 2026, with successful applicants notified by Tuesday 3 November 2026.
