Announcing our new Regional Chair, Chair-Elect and Executive Committee
12 Dec 2016
Learning Environments Australasia's recent Regional AGM in Adelaide brought a change in the face of our leadership team, which now includes two “first evers”.
We’re delighted to welcome Deb O’Riley as the new Regional Chair - the first ever female to hold this position.
Many of you will know Deb through her former LEA positions as Regional Chair-Elect, South Australian Chair or through her distinguished and diverse career in education.
We also welcome our first ever New Zealander to the Executive, Chapter Chair Chris Bradbeer. Chris was elected unopposed as Region Chair-Elect, and Queensland Chapter Chair Bill Dixon is now confirmed as our Secretary.
We thank outgoing Executive Members Mark Trotter and Phil Idle for their tremendous contribution over the past few years. Former Chair Mark will remain active in the Queensland Chapter, while Phil takes on the position of International Chair Elect.
And a special thanks to the now Past Chair Richard Leonard for his steady vision and leadership for the last two years.
