Award Winners Announced at National Wine Centre reception

Last night the winners of the 2014 CEFPI Australasia Awards Program were announced . Presentations were made at a Cocktail Reception at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide as part of the14th Annual CEFPI Regional Conference. Congratulations to Andrew Gehling and the conference conveners for a truly spectacular experience.
This year the winners were chosen from 71 submissions from across our Region. In total 16 awards and commendations were presented across five categories. Also announced were the awards for Outstanding Project from Emerging Chapters and the Overall Regional winner.
This years Emerging Chapter Award Winner was Branksome Hall Asia at Jeju Global Education City by MKPL Architects.
The Overall Winner for the Australasian Region was Learning Commons at Griffith University by Thomson Adsett (QLD).
In addition, on Sunday night the Inaugural CEFPI Peoples Choice Awards were conducted. CEFPI Australasia members nominated 11 projects across all five categories to present at the opening event, held in the Adelaide Oval. Voting took place at this event and the winner was presented with their award at the cocktail reception.
The Winner of the 2014 CEFPI Australasia Peoples Choice Award was Bentleigh Secondary College - M & ICC
