Call for 2018 Life Members

Life Membership is the highest honour Learning Environments Australasia can bestow on an individual and is done so in recognition of those who have made an outstanding contribution to the organisation. 

Members are invited to nominate a member who has a record of long and committed service to Learning Environments Australasia.

Recently a Taskforce reviewed the Life Membership protocol, as a few procedural shortcomings were perceived. The following recommendations were adopted:

• Nominations will no longer be referred to Council, but a special selection panel for recommendation. This is similar to the International Lifetime Achievement Award Panel run by A4LE. 
• The Panel of four will include at least one member of the current regional Executive; an existing Life Member or active member of  longstanding and two other members nominated by Executive.  
• The panel will make a recommendation to the Executive. Majority support is all that is required to ensure a successful candidate.

All nomination forms must be returned to Helen at admin@a4le.org.au no later than COB Friday 26 October 2018. There will be no extensions.
