Call for Nominations: International Director 2016 – 2019

The current International Director’s role ably filled by Phil Idle, ends in September 2016 so we are seeking nominations for suitable candidates for this three year position on the Executive.
1. Procedure for election: Nomination of International Representative – Australasia
The nominee must meet the criteria as outlined in Criteria & Role - International Board Representative doc.
Nominations for the position of International Representative shall be made in writing and submitted to the Administrator and signed by at least two (2) eligible members of Learning Environments Australasia. (Use Nomination Form).
Candidates also need to supply a short vision statement (a couple of paragraphs, 2nd page of nomination form).
If you are interested in this position or know of someone who may be, could you please circulate/complete the Criteria and Role document together with the nomination form and return to me by COB 14 May 2016
2. Voting
Candidates will be circulated to the Executive and Council for voting on 16 May. Each Council member can only vote once and for one candidate.
Voting closes 21 May COB. An independent member will hold copies of these votes to ensure voting is properly scrutinized.
If there is not a simple majority in favour of one candidate, the Chair shall cast his vote for one candidate.
3. Announcement
The successful candidate will be announced at the Special General Meeting, 31 May - Melbourne. This person will be required to attend the next International conference in Philadelphia, September 28 - October 1.
