Celebrating our 2025 Chapter Honours Recipients
26 Nov 2025
At our 2025 Annual General Meeting, Learning Environments Australasia proudly recognised two exceptional members with Chapter Honours. An award celebrating significant and sustained contribution to a Chapter through leadership, service, and steadfast support of events and initiatives. Whether present in the room or celebrated from afar, this year’s recipients are truly deserving of this honour.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Chapter Honours Panle for their thoughtful consideration and careful selection of the 2025 awardees.
Julie Saunders (Queensland Chapter)
For the past decade, Julie Saunders has been a driving force within the Queensland Chapter. Her generous leadership, steady commitment, and ability to bring people together have enriched our community in immeasurable ways.
As Convenor of the 2025 Brisbane Conference LEA 3001: A Learning Space Odyssey, a sold out event that set a new standard for excellence, Julie once again demonstrated her capacity to elevate LEA’s work and impact. Her passion for education and her unwavering support of LEA initiatives make her a truly worthy recipient of this year’s Chapter Honour.
Peter Moeck (South Australian Chapter)
Since joining in 2012, Peter Moeck has been instrumental in shaping the identity and direction of the South Australian Chapter. His visionary leadership and expertise have influenced everything from foundational chapter development to the success of the 2014 Adelaide Regional Conference.
Peter’s remarkable contribution to The Mayfield Project, both as Chair and Mentor, has inspired a new generation of emerging professionals and strengthened connections across the education and design sectors. His legacy is one of collaboration, excellence, and enduring impact.
All Chapter Honours recipients will be formally presented with their trophies at the 2026 Annual Regional Conference, Unleash, in Perth from 13 - 15 May 2026.
