In South Australia the Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure was responsible for coordination and oversight of projects funded by the Federal Government through the “Building the Education Revolution” project.
South Australia successfully completed its BER Projects within the time and budget timelines set by DWEER. While some projects were repeat designs adapted from previous projects, there were several new and innovative designs eg the Christies Beach High Southern Vocational College designed by environmental design leader, John Maitland.
