“How do we continue to add value to our members?”
21 Sep 2020
This will be an important theme for LEA NSW Chapter’s upcoming planning day.
The LEA NSW chapter is excited about our upcoming annual planning day to be held on Saturday the 26th September. It is a chance every year for us to reflect on the year that was, in terms of successes, challenges and trends and to agree on a theme that will frame the year ahead in planning for future events. We value feedback received from our members and use results from an online survey to guide our decision making.
Our for 2020 was Sustainability through a 2020 vision. Given the context of the past year being bushfires, flooding and a pandemic, it will be interesting to collectively brainstorm a theme for 2021 that will both respond to current issues and help provide our members with some fresh insights into the future of education and learning environments. Also, it is essential as a committee to consider how best to add value for our members including investigating ways to facilitate further interactions, networking and learning, both face to face and virtually.
While the core attendees of the planning day are usually current Committee members, we are always pleased to welcome visitors to provide us with some fresh perspectives. For future planning days, if any of our members would like to come along and have a say in the future direction of LEA, we would very much welcome their input!
