Introducing our new keynote for the Regional Day Out
01 Nov 2018
We are sorry to advise that Alastair Leighton can no longer join us for the Regional Day Out, but we welcome Derek Scott as the new keynote.
Derek is CEO/Principal of Haileybury. With campuses across Victoria and China, Haileybury is Australia’s largest school and recipient of the 2018 Australian School of the Year Award.
Derek will share the opportunities and challenges in developing Haileybury City - Melbourne's first ever vertical school. For the growing number of families living in the CBD, Haileybury City has increased the options for local, independent education.
How will the rise of vertical schools impact broader approaches to education?

We have an insider tip on Tour B: Library at the Docklands and Arup.
Be one of the first to see the brand new Arup premises. Those who have stepped inside rave at how "un-office" it is: no desks, no lifts, and oodles of green space. With its focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of staff, this is a workplace ahead of its time.
On top of its stunning waterfront views and 21st century services, Library at the Docklands is Australia's most sustainable building. Explore how a three way public-private partnership delivered this unique community asset.
