LEA Executives acknowledge Phil Idle
03 Oct 2019
The Executive of Learning Environments Australasia, would like to sincerely acknowledge and thank Phillip Idle, as he steps down as Chair from A4LE at the LearnSCAPES conference in Anaheim, California this week.
Phil, a Director of EIW Architects based in Perth, WA is a well-known face amongst the Learning Environments Australasia community, and now the broader membership across the globe. In 2016 Phil was chosen as the Association’s Chair-Elect and became Chair in October 2018. Phil is the first Australasian member to ever hold this position. Participating with the international board involves much international travel, many early morning phone calls and endless sub-committees.
Phil has concentrated his efforts developing A4LE as a truly global organisation. We are extremely proud of his achievements and commitment to Learning Environments and thank him for his contribution.
We congratulate Julie Williams who takes over from Phil as A4LE Chair and closer to home, thank outgoing LEA International Director Andrew Pender for advocating for the region over the last three years. Andrew passes the baton to Mark Trotter, who steps up as the new LEA International Director.
