Real People, Problems and Responses – St Aloysius Tour and Case Studies
19 Apr 2018
Recently the NSW Chapter toured St Aloysius to gain an understanding of a city fringe school undergoing a master plan and a transition in pedagogy.
The school shared their story about change and adaptation, following this we heard about the master plan from Andrew Pender, PMDL.
In keeping with our Chapter theme for 2018 - Real People, Problems and Responses - two further case studies were presented which showcased a variety of approaches to learning spaces and budgets.
Daniel Smith from Leaf Architecture presented their recent work on the Kindergarten at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Kingswood and Ross Gardner from Gardner Wetherill shared their work with UNSW's main quad interstitial learning spaces.
