Seeing Australia’s oldest museum through the eyes of toddlers
21 Aug 2018
Recently, the NSW Chapter joined the Australian Museum during their Science Week festivities.
We learned about what its like to be a learning environment that must attract its learners, plus cater for a significant range of ages – from toddlers to adults!
As Australia’s oldest museum, we heard about (and saw some) of the iterations of design. We touched, we learned and we explored through the museum with through the eyes of its youngest patrons.

We also heard from their talented education team as they share their thoughts on engaging the various age groups and how they’ve experimented with different approaches. They shared some insight into their planning for up and coming events and their future aspirations in an up and coming master plan.
