2015 Regional Award Winners and Commendations Announcement

Congratulations to Bob Sly and the conference conveners for a truly enlightening experience at the15th Annual CEFPI Regional Conference, in Canberra. Thanks also for the ongoing support of the CEFPI Australasia Awards Program.
This year, all entries were exhibited in the main Exhibition Hall of the National Convention Centre, and the Awards were presented on the final day of the conference. The Australasian Awards program continues to grow, with 89 submissions from across the Region and the introduction of a sixth category. The Educational Landscapes / Outdoor Learning Area category recognises the importance of learning spaces outside the classroom. In total 16 awards and commendations were presented across six categories including awards for Outstanding Project from Emerging Chapters and the Overall Regional winner.
This years Emerging Chapter Award Winner is Victoria University of Wellington, Campus Hub and Library Upgrade by Athfield Architects and Architectus
The Overall Winner for the Australasian Region is The Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences, The University High School by ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects.
Also presented was the 2015 CEFPI People’s Choice Award. Delegates of the conference were able to view all entries at the Awards Exhibition, and vote for their favourite project across all categories.
The Winner of the 2014 CEFPI Australasia Peoples Choice Award is Claremont College by TERROIR Architects.
