The Executive of Learning Environments Australasia ('LEA') would like to advise the positions of Chair Elect, Treasurer and Secretary will become vacant in November 2024 when the previous holders of the positions term ends, and we are seeking nominations now for these three positions.

 

Procedure for Election

  • The nominee must meet the criteria as outlined in the Director Nomination Form
  • Nominations for the positions are to be made in writing and signed by one (1) eligible member of Learning Environments Australasia on the Director Nomination Form and submitted to Deb Zabenko Administration Manager by COB Friday 11 October 2024.
  • Candidates need to complete the Director Nomination Form supplying professional history, LEA involvement history and a short vision statement (50 words), providing information to show they meet the criteria.
  • If you are interested in any of these roles, please return the signed completed Director Nomination Form to Deb Zabenko Administration Manager by COB Friday 11 October 2024.

 

Voting Process

  • All members of LEA are entitled to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting on Friday 22 November 2024 at 6pm.
  • If you are unable to attend and would like to send a proxy please complete the Proxy Form and return to Deb Zabenko Administration Manager by COB Friday 15 November 2024.

 

Announcement

  • The successful candidates will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Friday 22 November 2024.  Please see AGM Notice.

 

Life Membership Nominations

  • Life Membership is the highest honour Learning Environments Australasia can bestow on an individual and is done so in recognition of those who have made an outstanding contribution to the organisation.
  • You are invited to nominate a member who has a record of long and committed service to Learning Environments Australasia (LEA).
  • If you would like to learn more about past recipients of this award, visit our website.
  • Please submit your nominations on the 2024 Life Membership Nomination Form.

All nomination forms must be emailed to Deb Zabenko Administration Manager no later than COB Friday 4 October 2024.
