Farewell Cecely – NSW Chapter

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of a valued member of our team, Cecely McGeachie, the NSW Chapter Events & Administration Coordinator, who has been an integral part of our organisation since 2019. Cecely's journey with us has been marked by outstanding dedication, innovation and an unwavering passion for education.
In her role, Cecely has left a mark on the LEA community and her departure leaves big shoes to fill. We take this moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Cecely for her exemplary service and commitment to our mission.
Daniel Smith, Chair of LEA, reflects on Cecely's tenure, describing her as one of the most passionate and informed Educators he has worked with. Cecely's dedication to creating innovative and dynamic learning environments to support students is unparalleled. She has challenged us to delve deeper into our work with Educators, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in education.
While we are sad to bid farewell to Cecely, we wholeheartedly thank her for all her contributions to LEA and wish her immense success in her future endeavors. We extend our sincere thanks to Cecely for her outstanding contributions and we are confident that she will carry the same spirit of dedication and innovation into her next chapter.
Jo Simmons, Past NSW Chapter Chair, had the privilege of working closely with Cecely and expressed deep appreciation for the support and initiative Cecely brought to her role. Whilst Cecely's departure brings a sense of sadness, we are excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead for her. The NSW Chapter is grateful for the knowledge and skills she shared during her tenure and on behalf of the NSW Chapter Committee and members, we extend our best wishes to Cecely for all her future endeavors.
