Inaugural New Zealand Awards now open for registration
29 Jul 2018
2018 marks the first time the Learning Environments New Zealand Awards will be held, and registrations are now open until 31 August.
This is an opportunity to recognise learning space design from across the country, with all entries exhibited at Learning Spaces Aotearoa, the NZ Chapter’s new one day conference, this year based in Auckland.
The format follows that of the Regional Awards with the exception of an additional category for under $500,000 projects. This recognises the five allowance projects (5YA), typically under $500,000 that make up 80% of school construction projects in New Zealand. There are many small scale yet extraordinarily innovative projects that schools undertake with these funding packages.
Please follow a 2-step process to enter the Awards:
Step 1: Register your intent by emailing nzadmin@a4le.org.nz You will then be sent an invoice.
Registration opens 30 July and closes on 31 August, 2018 at 11pm NZST.
Step 2: Submit your project(s) on the Award Force Portal. (Download submittal form).
Submission portal opens 30 July, 2018 at 6am and closes on 7 September 2018 at 11pm NZST.
The Learning Environments New Zealand Awards are a biannual event, with the next Awards scheduled for 2020.
