Registration opens 25 January for 2016 Regional Awards

The 2016 EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AWARDS PROGRAM is open to all Learning Environments Australasia members, including designers and architects, schools management and teaching teams, project managers and organisations who have been a part of creating and improving learning environments in the Australasian region.
The aim of these Awards is to enhance the profile of our commitment to improving the relationship between Learning and Place across the Region. These awards reflect the philosophy of Learning Environments Australasia. The projects recognised will demonstrate best practice and design excellence in the planning, design and use of learning environments that support and improve student learning.
Timeline for 2016 Awards
Online Registration opens 25 January
Registration closes 26 February
Submissions Award entry required by 25 March
Exhibition Board Required by 22 April
Cost per registration $300 + GST
The awards will be presented at the Annual Regional Conference in Melbourne 29th May – 1 June 2016. Awards and Commendations may be presented in all six categories along with an Overall Winner. As in previous years the selection will be by a panel of independent jurors drawn from across the region. In addition, there will be a People’s Choice Award. Voting will take place during the conference and all in attendance are eligible to vote.
Award Winners will have their entry fee paid to enter the 2016 A4LE School Planning and Architectural Exhibition at the annual A4LE World Congress.
Winners in various categories may be asked to develop and present Seminars, webinars and/or other resources that describe and promote the project. All Submissions will receive exposure on this website and have the opportunity to be on exhibition at the Regional Conference.
