Rosebery School Wins Territory ‘Project of the Year’ Award
08 Nov 2011
The $ 62 million Rosebery Schools project was completed for the 2011 School Year. It is the biggest school project in recent Territory history and was built in response to the fast paced growth of Palmerston, the satellite town 30 kilometres south of Darwin.
The project was a design, document and construct project which provided a Middle School and Pre-Primary Schools on a single greenfield site with a total capacity of 1350 students. The School was the subject of a site visit during the 2009 CEFPI Conference held in Darwin.
The development of the design brief for the new schools was heavily assisted by the Victorian Education Department model, following contact made at the CEFPI Melbourne Conference in 2008.
